This summer school preceded the main CIFAR Quantum
Materials Meeting which was held in Vancouver on May 28-31, 2009.
Graduate
students/postdocs of CIFAR program members were invited to
attend our
3 days of lectures and presentations in preparation for the
main meeting. Students were also invited
to attend the CIFAR Quantum Materials Main Meeting on May 28-31.
CIFAR will cover local expenses
(accommodation and
food) for students of program members, as well as travel
expenses for up to 2 students for each program member.
